Dr. Colleen Corcoran, PhD

As a licensed psychologist, I provide therapy services across the lifespan. Viewing my role in clients' lives as a privilege, I approach my work with warmth, candor, and a genuine belief in one's potential for growth.

A bit about my approach to therapy:

Our difficulties often stem from longstanding patterns of relating to ourselves and others that are no longer serving us. Through greater awareness of these patterns and our internal emotional world, we are better able to cope and connect. I enjoy partnering with client's to explore both the past and present, with the hope of creating a better future.

For children, external circumstances can be confusing and internal emotions can be overwhelming. I provide a playful space for processing and learning coping skills. I also partner with parents to help increase capacity to connect with their children and hold loving boundaries to support regulation.

What you can expect from our first session:

In our sessions, you can expect a welcoming and empathetic environment. We will start with an introductory session to determine fit. From there, we will dive into your story. I aim for our time to be collaborative, with us both taking active roles in the work. Areas of specialization include: LGBTQ+, anxiety, ASD, and early childhood.
